Community News for SCR Tuesday 6th December
The recent Albatross Show N Shine, held at Fleet Air Arm Museum near HMAS Albatross attracted cars, motorcycles and many interested spectators from across the Shoalhaven and beyond.
With the help of many other local Rotary clubs, in particular the Rotary Club of Sussex Inlet, the Rotary e-Club of Brindabella provided the main food stand at the Show N Shine. Serving sausage, steak and bacon and egg sandwiches, some 700 serves helped satisfy the hunger of those who came to support the Albatross Show N Shine.
The charities Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation (JDRF) and Australian Leukodystrophy Support Group Inc (ALDS) are the beneficiaries of the event. Judy and Norm Potter, of the Rotary e-Club of Brindabella, presented their cheque to the Albatross Show N Shine organisers Stu Walters and Glen Smith.
